I'm not a native of neither Japanese nor English, so there might be mistakes here and there.
As much as I try to give the translation the same feeling as the original Japanese, it still feels like a big failure.
When I was reading Akihide's today's blog post, I got stuck at one part and talked to
adrio_nevralka and she said she'd ask her boss (who is native Japanese) if he could explain the sentence. And the boss commented, "Is this a poem?! Ah... this is difficult. How can I explain it to you?" and he scrunched his face, thinking, and continued again, "The sentence is too uncommon for me."
Apparently, Akihide's words are poetic and difficult for Japanese as well. I just wanna share the story. *laughs*

i include the reading (even though I might make mistakes there too), so maybe you also can appreciate the nice way it sounds.... i feel like a freak. hahahaha...!!
洗車空。

洗車した時に限って雨が降る。
まさしく、その通り。
洗車した次の日が今日、雨でした。
だけど、お天道様も車を磨いてくれた雨、というポジティブ変換で
そんなんで気分だけは晴れ模様。
雨も日もあれば
晴れの日もある。
明日はどんな日であろうとも
一度しか来ないかけがえのない明日を
楽しめますように。
おやすみなさいませ。

Car Wash Sky.
Jinx.
The day I have my car washed, a restricting rain came to fall.
Evidently, it is that way.
Today, the day following the car wash, it rained.
Nevertheless, the sun also brings a positive change for the rain that has polished the car,
suchlike my feeling is comparable to a clear weather pattern.
If there's rain and sun,
there is also clear weathered day.
No matter what kind of day tomorrow will be,
the tomorrow that comes once and only once,
I want to be able to enjoy it.
Have a good night sleep.

another way to call the sun in Japanese; tentousama - one who walks the heavens.
